Region I gets better in CY 2007 |

In the Annual Regional Development Report (ARDR) for CY 2007, Region I manifested a positive growth from CY 2006 to 2007. This highlights the accomplishments of the region’s macroeconomy, agriculture, industry, trade and tourism, environment and natural resources, social services, infrastructure and governance sector.

The Regional Project Monitoring Committee (RPMC) monitored 730 projects enrolled in the RDC Monitoring Plan during the year. These include projects categorized into four types namely: the 364 projects supporting the Regional Development Agenda (RDA); seven multi-year/special projects; 246 projects promoting the attainment of the Millennium Development Goals (MDG) and 113 Gender and Development (GAD)-related projects.
