“Productivity Towards Progress: Partnership, Resources, Opportunities”, this year’s theme sets the tone for Productivity with the celebration of the National Quality and Productivity Improvement Month at the NEDA Conference Hall on October 07, 2011.

Ilocos economy did well in the second quarter of 2011 as many key indicators registered increases as compared with the same period last year.

The Executive Committee of the Regional Development Council here in Region 1 approved two proposals for area development planning namely, Agno River Basin Watershed-Coastal Area Management Program (IARB-CAM), and the Tri-City Tourism Development within the Lingayen Gulf for better management of local resources and higher revenues.
